Lung Assessment Program

Ask your doctor about a yearly lung cancer screening with a low-dose CT chest if you:

  • Are between the ages of 50 and 80 years old
  • Have a 20-pack year smoking history (meaning you smoked one pack a day for 20 years or two packs a day for 10 years)
  • Currently smoke or quit within the last 15 years

A screening can find signs of lung cancer before you experience symptoms—when the disease is easier to treat.
