Description:  The Senior Billing Collections Representative is responsible for billing, collections and reconciliation of all insurance claims. Monitors recurring rejected claims to management for evaluation of impact on the timely filing of claims. Reviews claims for accuracy, performs required edits, submits claims and/or rebills to payers daily to ensure timelines of claim submission. Researches and responds to incoming patient, payer, physicians and or representative inquiry by telephone and/or mail. Must have High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent, 1 plus year of Medical Billing/Collector experience.

The John Peter Smith Pediatrics and Family Medicine Departments have an opening for a Physician/Faculty member to teach within the John Peter Smith Family Medicine Residency program in Fort Worth, Texas.  Expected qualifications include: interest and demonstrated competence as an educator; several years practice experience; but would consider recent graduates with teaching or chief resident experience.

The JPS Family Medicine Residency is the largest in the country (22 residents per class with a total of 80 residents and fellows) and was ranked #3 by peers in 2015 by US News and World Report.

This physician will be part of a team of providers teaching and precepting Family Medicine residents, transitional residents and medical students in both the outpatient clinic setting and the newborn nursery.

 

Position Details Include

  • Outpatient clinic volume is approximately 20-25 patients per day
  • Clinic patient age range: birth to 18 years of age
  • New Born Nursery Volume: Approximately 4,500 births per year
  • No building a practice.  The volume is already here.

The Acclaim Physician Group, Inc. an affiliate of John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas is looking for a qualified full-time Child and Adolescent Outpatient Psychiatrist to join the faculty of the Department of Psychiatry. 

The John Peter Smith Hospital District and the Department of Psychiatry has embarked on a comprehensive redesign of mental health services for Tarrant County, Texas. The Department is highly collegial, and values evidence-based clinical practice and a commitment to teaching.

The outpatient services are designed around a collaborative multi-disciplinary team that includes psychiatrically trained Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Social Workers and a nursing staff that is experienced, committed and collaborative.  Faculty has the opportunity to supervise residents in psychiatry, family medicine and emergency medicine, medical students, physician assistant students and nurse practitioner students. The Department of Psychiatry staffs the John Peter Smith Hospital Network’s Child and Adolescent services in five (5) Outpatient Clinics in Tarrant County.  The C&A clinics operate various days and half days Monday through Friday. 

Faculty will provide leadership, direct clinical care, and administrative supervision of clinical services in the outpatient clinic through comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning. Weekend inpatient call occurs approximately once every 10-12 weeks. Candidate must be willing to treat adults as well as adolescents when on call.

Acclaim Physician Group has an opportunity for an experienced Family Medicine Advanced Practice Provider at JPS’ Medical Home at True Worth Place.  Currently, the homeless services from JPS provides health care at numerous locations.  The primary service location is at the True Worth Clinic. This clinic works tirelessly to provide care and support to a unique and underserved population of patients. It is adult patients (18+) who have multiple chronic health problems and are seen for primary care.  Many of these patients also have mental health and substance abuse issues.

  • Demonstrate leadership that fosters physician and staff collaboration to control costs, manage utilization, develop new programs, and continuously improve clinical quality customer service and overall performance.
  • Translate goals into strategic and tactical execution plans by considering innovative and strategic differentiators, and assessing the ongoing requirements for population health management.
  • Participate in growth initiatives to create a basis for population health management.  Identify relevant populations to create a robust data governance mechanism, and implement an effective population health analytics solution for providers.
  • Analyze care outcomes and utilization trends, designing and/or redesigning services based on data analysis and patient needs.
  • Review and analyze clinical indicators for ambulatory care. Establish priorities for quality of care and cost interventions in cooperation with Acclaim leadership.
  • Work in partnership with Acclaim leadership in the ongoing design of the care management structure and functional activities.
  • Provide assistance in the development of a CIN/ACO, ensuring optimal processes, reporting/analytic abilities, key performance indicators and operational capabilities to drive quality initiatives.
  • Support and direct population health management clinical guidelines in support of community-based physician alignment activities.
  • Support the ongoing implementation of administrative and clinical programs designed to support physicians in achieving clinical and operational goals.
  • Engage, mentor, and retain providers around the vision and common goals of a population health management.
  • Collaborate with leadership to engage, enable, and empower providers through incentives, tools, data systems, and clinical resources.
  • Solicit input and contribute to the development, review, and dissemination of clinical guidelines to providers.
  • Advance a patient-centered culture of engagement.
  • Collaborate with Service Line Chief/Chairs, Medical Directors, Faculty Physicians, and Network Providers to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Organize and lead activities related to National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Accreditation and Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) performance ensuring highest level of accreditation.
  • Monitor guidelines for the management of care, and for ensuring the services are delivered in compliance with the guidelines established by JPS Health Network and Acclaim Physician Group.

Physician Requirements

  • Current Medical Doctor (M.D) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited school of medicine.
  • Current, unrestricted medical license to practice in the State of Texas
  • Board Certified within specialty

Advanced Practice Provider Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program

The Executive Medical Director, Inpatient Integration and Transformation will serve as a key leader with other stakeholders to drive and support initiatives that advance value-based care arrangements, and overall quality improvements and innovations.  This position will provide strong clinical consulting in partnership with cross-functional inpatient teams to support providers and patients.

Duties and Essential Functions

  • Drive and support initiatives to further value-based care arrangements and overall quality improvements and innovations with providers.
  • Review clinical indicators for inpatient care. Analyze data and establish priorities for focused healthcare quality and cost interventions in cooperation with Acclaim leadership.
