Description:  The Senior Billing Collections Representative is responsible for billing, collections and reconciliation of all insurance claims. Monitors recurring rejected claims to management for evaluation of impact on the timely filing of claims. Researches and responds to incoming patient, payer, physicians and or representative inquiry by telephone and/or mail. Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist – Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the faculty of the Department of Psychiatry. The Department of Psychiatry staffs the John Peter Smith Hospital Network’s Behavioral Health Services that include: Adult and Adolescent inpatient services, long term care unit, med/psych unit, comprehensive Consultation Liaison, including trauma services, 24 hour Psychiatric Emergency Center, Assessment Center, Urgent Walk-in Clinic, five (5) Outpatient Clinics and four (4) community-based Partial Hospital Programs. The inpatient services are designed around a collaborative multi-disciplinary team that includes psychiatrically trained Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Social Workers, a Clinical Pharmacist, and a nursing staff that is experienced, committed and collaborative. Faculty will provide leadership, direct clinical care, and administrative supervision of clinical services in the inpatient unit (50%) and the Assessment Center (50%) through comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning. Extra duty for weekend hospital call is paid in addition to base salary and occurs approximately once every 10-12 weeks. Must be Texas Licensed by hire date and Board Certified or Board Eligible. Fluency in Spanish or other foreign language is a plus.

Acclaim Physician Group is currently seeking one full time Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join our Employee Health and Wellness clinic for the JPS Health Network. The JPS Health Network system serves the uninsured and the underinsured population of Tarrant County, Texas. We established the clinic in the summer of 2012 as the first true clinical site dedicated to serve the care givers (the employees and their dependents) of the JPS Health Network.

The provider selected for this role will be working a four 10 hour day schedule. The hours will be from 7am to 5pm Tuesday through Friday. The first hour of operation is reserved for walk-in patients. During this walk-in time the census is variable. There could be as few as 1 patient or up to 10 patients. The balance of the day will be spent seeing scheduled primary care patients.

The John Peter Smith Pediatrics and Family Medicine Departments have an opening for a Physician/Faculty member to teach within the John Peter Smith Family Medicine Residency program in Fort Worth, Texas.  Expected qualifications include: interest and demonstrated competence as an educator; several years practice experience; but would consider recent graduates with teaching or chief resident experience.

The JPS Family Medicine Residency is the largest in the country (22 residents per class with a total of 80 residents and fellows) and was ranked #3 by peers in 2015 by US News and World Report.

This physician will be part of a team of providers teaching and precepting Family Medicine residents, transitional residents and medical students in both the outpatient clinic setting and the newborn nursery.

The Acclaim Physician Group, Inc., an affiliate of JPS Health Network in Fort Worth, Texas, is looking for a Psychiatrist for a full time Consult and Liaison position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•  Provide regularly scheduled consultation to participating primary care practices. Consultations will focus primarily on patients who are new to behavioral health treatment or who are not improving as expected.
•  Provide phone consultation to primary care physicians (PCPs) as requested. Response time should be within 24 hours for low priority calls and 1-2 hours for urgent calls, if possible.
•  Work with participating practices to track and oversee patient outcomes using an integrated health model.
•  Suggest treatment plan changes including medication recommendations for patients.
•  Discuss patients who may need referral for additional behavioral health care and advise on treatment plans during the transition period to ensure continuity of care.
•  Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) of the primary care practices to document patient information, referrals or other relevant information as required.
•  Adhere to all compliance procedures relevant to protected health information (PHI) and HIPAA regulations.
•  Communicate clearly to PCPs, care coordinators, or other designated contacts for the practices regarding limitations of consultation and treatment recommendations, if relevant.
•  Maintain communication flow in relevant e-mail systems including a response time within 2 business days generally. Urgent e-mail should be responded to as soon as possible.
•  Participate in monthly consult meetings as assigned.
•  Participate in monthly clinical directors meetings to represent the consult and liaison service and in monthly faculty meetings.
•  Submit monthly time sheets documenting activities to support the JPS Professional Medical Services agreement consult and liaison services contract (work may include meeting PCPs, care coordinators, or other designated staff, discussing procedures and coordinating services, provider education, case presentation, and in-person evaluation of patients).
•  Participate in and/or provide training related to this position.
•  Participate in an on-call rotation with other Psychiatrists for weekend and holiday coverage.
