Department: Acclaim Revenue Cycle

Description:  The Certified Coder I performs functions of coding diagnosis and procedures from outpatient center/clinic records utilizing International Classification of Diseases (ICD) and Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes. Assigns codes to diagnosis and procedures of outpatient records, including clinics, Urgent Care and Emergency room, utilizing ICD and CPT codes in accordance with ICD Coding Guidelines, CPT Coding Guidelines, American Hospital Association (AHA) Coding Clinics and the JPS Outpatient Coding Policy and Procedures.  Identifies, researches, and corrects or routes accounts on the coding and billing edit work queues to meet coding guidelines and facilitate accurate billing. Must have High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Required licensure includes one of the following: AHIMA, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCA, AAPC, CPC, or CPC-H.

Department: Acclaim Klabzuba OB/GYN Clinic

Description: The Certified Medical Assistant performs various clinical and technical duties and tasks which includes assisting with direct and indirect treatment of OB/GYN patients. Assists in preparing and maintaining clinic readiness including but not limited to chart checks, maintaining neat, orderly, and supplied exam rooms and sets up for procedures as indicated. Assists with appointment scheduling, retrieving and documenting voice mail information from patients accurately in the patient's medical record and forwarding information and records to the appropriate practitioner, nursing staff, and/or manager/director in a timely manner. Must have High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent and completion of a Medical Assistant Program. Required licensure includes current certification from a national registry as a Certified Medical Assistant.

Description:  The Medical Staff Coordinator coordinates all aspects of the credentialing process to the established department policies and procedures.   Coordinates all aspects of the credentialing and privileging process for medical staff pre-screening, initial appointment, Advanced Practice Practitioner, reappointment, and temporary privileging by obtaining all required data for each applicant within the defined timelines. Must have High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent and 1-2 years of experience in health care setting.

Description:  The Reconciliation Analyst is responsible for researching, identifying and properly reapplies cash from unidentified cash accounts to patient accounts or escheatment account. Researches and respond to incoming patient inquiry by telephone and or by mail within 48 hours of requests. Documents all actions taken on accounts in the system; Maintains and reconcile Medicare remit logs to provide accurate totals to the Reimbursement Department regarding allowed charges. Description:  The Reporting Analyst assists with expanding the District's business intelligence (BI) and knowledge management using Microsoft's suite of tools or other third party BI tools.  This job is heavily involved in the overall technical design and support activities in Knowledge Management.  The Reporting Analyst also works to automate scorecards and dashboards and to ensure their deployment to a reporting portal. Develops, implements and maintains front-end presentation (dashboards), automated report solutions and other BI solutions to support tactical and strategic reporting needs of the District. Manages projects, tasks and timelines ensuring that required approvals are obtained prior to work commencing. Must have Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field from an accredited university, 2 plus years in SQL Service 2005/2008, advanced skills in Microsoft Office.

Description:  The Service Line Administrator is responsible for developing effective strategies and identifying, implementing, and executing tactics to result in a patient and family centered service line. The Service Line Administrator will work in a dyad partnership with the assigned Service Line Medical Director to encompass the full continuum of care starting with hospital consult services, followed by addressing outpatient and community services. Must have Bachelor’s degree in Health Services, Nursing, Public Health, assigned service line or related field, 3 plus years management experience in health care environment, 5 years overall management experience, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Description:  The Senior Billing Collections Representative is responsible for billing, collections and reconciliation of all insurance claims. Monitors recurring rejected claims to management for evaluation of impact on the timely filing of claims. Reviews claims for accuracy, performs required edits, submits claims and/or rebills to payers daily to ensure timelines of claim submission. Researches and responds to incoming patient, payer, physicians and or representative inquiry by telephone and/or mail. Outpatient Psychiatrist – Full time Outpatient Psychiatrist to join the faculty of the Department of Psychiatry. The Department of Psychiatry staffs all the Tarrant County John Peter Smith Hospital’s Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Services. Faculty has the opportunity to supervise residents in psychiatry, family medicine and emergency medicine, medical students, physician assistant students and nurse practitioner students. The outpatient services are designed around a collaborative multi-disciplinary team that includes psychiatrically trained Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Social Workers and a nursing staff that is experienced, committed and collaborative. The Department is highly collegial, and values evidence-based clinical practice and a commitment to teaching, provides clinical staffing for Partial Hospital Programs, Intensive Outpatient Programs, Psychological and Neuropsychological Testing, and JPS Behavioral Health Ambulatory Clinics. Faculty will provide leadership, direct clinical care, and administrative supervision of clinical services in the outpatient clinic through comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning. Extra duty for weekend hospital call is paid in addition to base salary and occurs approximately once every 10-12 weeks. Must be Texas Licensed by hire date and Board Certified or Board Eligible. Fluency in Spanish or other foreign language is a plus.

Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist – Full time Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist to join the faculty of the Department of Psychiatry. The Department of Psychiatry staffs the John Peter Smith Hospital Network’s Behavioral Health Services that include: Adult and Adolescent inpatient services, long term care unit, med/psych unit, comprehensive Consultation Liaison, including trauma services, 24 hour Psychiatric Emergency Center, Assessment Center, Urgent Walk-in Clinic, five (5) Outpatient Clinics and four (4) community-based Partial Hospital Programs. The inpatient services are designed around a collaborative multi-disciplinary team that includes psychiatrically trained Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Social Workers, a Clinical Pharmacist, and a nursing staff that is experienced, committed and collaborative. Faculty will provide leadership, direct clinical care, and administrative supervision of clinical services in the inpatient unit (50%) and the Assessment Center (50%) through comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning. Extra duty for weekend hospital call is paid in addition to base salary and occurs approximately once every 10-12 weeks. Must be Texas Licensed by hire date and Board Certified or Board Eligible. Departmental responsibilities include training of medical students, residents in both OB/GYN and Family Practice and providing superior general obstetrical clinical and supervisory services. Our expanding department currently includes eight midwives, eighteen nurse practitioners and one physician assistant devoted to resident education in all areas of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Geriatrics Inpatient Advanced Practice Provider – full time Provider to join our Geriatric Inpatient Service. This is will be a consult service for our resident teaching teams and out nonteaching hospitalist service.  The provider will practice independently, but will have ready access to his/her supervising physician should there be an issue or a need.  We anticipate daily interaction with the supervising physician.  The average estimated consult census will be about 12-18 per day. One to two years of Advanced Practice Professional experience in Geriatrics preferred. Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm schedule

We are looking for a provider who has an interest in treating chronic pain in a truly multidisciplinary environment. The Pain Center has specialists from a variety of backgrounds including Anesthesia, PMR and Psychiatry etc. The responsibilities will include working in an outpatient environment with the support of attending physicians. The provider will be primarily located at our new Pain Center in close proximity to the hospital and in some of the satellite outpatient centers. Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Primary duties require outpatient medication management of a diverse population of Tarrant County residents. The Department of Psychiatry provides care at multiple John Peter Smith clinics throughout the County and psychiatric physician back-up and supervision is readily available. Additional clinical duties in the psychiatric emergency center or on inpatient units may be required as needed. Onsite weekend call/extra duty coverage is scheduled approximately every 3 months and includes additional compensation. Acclaim Physician Group is seeking a full-time, doctoral level, Clinical Psychologist to join the faculty of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health.  We have an expansive, full-range, network of psychiatric services including a Psychiatric Emergency Center, Adult and Adolescent Inpatient units, Outpatient clinics, Partial Hospitalization, and Intensive Outpatient programs. 

Candidate must have a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree in Clinical Psychology. Qualified candidates must have licensure, or provisional licensure, as a Clinical Psychologist by the State of Texas (by hire date) and a minimum of 2 years verifiable experience in the delivery of behavioral health assessment and treatment including clinical assessments, psychotherapy and psychological testing (including measures such as Rorschach Technique).  Fluency in Spanish or other foreign languages is a bonus, but not necessary.

The qualified Psychologist will apply psychological procedures and techniques, including interviewing, comprehensive behavioral assessments, evidenced-based therapies, and psychological/psychodiagnostic testing for the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of psychological and neuropsychological disorders in multiple medical settings. 

Teaching opportunities with clinical psychology graduate students, medical students, and psychiatric/medical residents are available.
